Big changes are afoot as Arsenal prepares to clash with Chelsea! Renée Slegers has shaken things up, making three strategic adjustments to the starting lineup for the highly anticipated match at the Emirates Stadium.
First, we see Lotte Wubben-Moy stepping in to bolster the defense, replacing Laia Codina and joining forces with Steph Catley. Additionally, Emily Fox gets the nod, taking over from Taylor Hinds to complete the defensive reshuffle.
The final alteration comes in midfield, where Victoria Pelova will take the field in place of the absent Kim Little. (Renee confirmed Little's absence during her pre-match press conference.)
Daphne van Domselaar will be between the posts, with Katie McCabe, Fox, Catley, and Wubben-Moy forming the back four.
Pelova will team up with Mariona Caldentey in midfield, while the attacking front line remains unchanged, featuring Alessia Russo, Stina Blackstenius, Caitlin Foord, and Beth Mead.
Returning to the bench after missing the Leicester City match are Olivia Smith, Kyra Cooney-Cross, and Frida Maanum.
