Angelica Panganiban delivered a memorable interview on Karen Davila’s vlog, and Ellen Adarna couldn’t help but weigh in. The conversation touched on themes like adoption, marriage, health struggles, and the surprising bond Angelica sees with Ellen herself.
Both actresses have Derek Ramsay and John Lloyd Cruz as former partners, adding a threaded tension to the discussion.
When asked if they could be friends, Angelica didn’t hesitate: yes, they could talk and share a lot. “We’d have plenty to discuss,” she joked. She also warned, playfully, “Just don’t screenshot or record me,” adding that she hasn’t even been invited to a group chat yet.
Angelica’s remarks seemed to reference Ellen’s public disclosure about Derek’s alleged infidelity, which Ellen had revealed earlier. In the wake of that reveal, Ellen posted recordings from her disputes with Derek and hinted at a connection with some of his exes.

Meanwhile, Ellen has been sharing clips of Angelica’s interview, including a moment where Angelica’s comment could have sparked controversy. Ellen reposted the clip with Karen and Angelica tagged, captioning the moment with a lighthearted, “Traggiss,” alongside a clip that suggests what Angelica might have said about the group chat if she hadn’t found peace. Ellen also shared a clip of Angelica describing the group chat as “fun and funny,” tagging Angelica and including a laughing emoji.
Rumors about Ellen and Derek’s breakup have circulated since earlier in the year, though Derek publicly denied the split. In November, Ellen disclosed Derek’s infidelity and mentioned they were no longer cohabitating, with her temporarily staying at his house while her new home undergoes renovations.
Photos surfaced showing Derek’s eldest son Austin visiting Ellen and the children Lili and Elias, indicating ongoing family interactions.
In the interview, Angelica expressed a sense of disappointment about the state of Ellen’s marriage, admitting she felt sadness. “I searched for that sadness, that concern—though I’m years apart from my own ex,” she said. “If I were 39, he would be almost 50. I was surprised to learn he hadn’t settled down yet,” she reflected, suggesting the development caught her off guard and left her astonished that the situation hadn’t cooled down yet.”
