Muncy's salary for the next season is $7 million, ensuring a minimum of $10 million under the extension. If the Dodgers exercise their club option, Muncy will receive $17 million with the new deal.
This extension marks the fourth one Muncy has signed since joining the Dodgers in 2017. His previous contracts include a three-year, $26 million deal in 2020 and a one-year, $13.5 million extension in 2022, which included a $10 million team option for 2024. The most recent extension, signed in November 2023, is a two-year, $24 million pact with a team option for 2026.
